Valley - Yosemite National Park, California
As I was leaving the Yosemite
National Park, I came across this view. Four of the major attractions
can be seen in this one photo. From left to right, El Capitan, Half Dome,
Cathedral Rocks and Bridalveil Falls.
Now unknown to me at the time when I stopped, this is almost a very
popular photo location. However, where I stopped the van, grabbed the camera
and rushed to the side of the road, I was actually in a NO PARKING area.
(*that doesn't always stop most photographers ) The actual official
parking area for this location shot was about another half mile down the
road. From there, I could have joined a number of people that had stopped
to get this photo, in a nice paved parking area, but I had already gotten
mine earlier and from a bit different location. Does that make mine special?
